Bookmobile has provided book fulfillment since 2005. Books are stored in our climate-controlled
and insured warehouse, right next door to the Bookmobile print shop.
The Details on Book Fulfillment Services
In Bookmobile’s Stacks Drop Ship Manager, publishers can view their current inventory on hand and order drop ships at anytime. Low on inventory? Ordering a reprint at Bookmobile in the Stacks Print Run Manager is a click away. Tons of orders? While you can place a drop ship order manually (handy for events or author copies), you can also upload an Excel file drop ship list, or configure an API feed to automatically input orders.
You can also see all your orders and their status in Stacks: order received, orders in process, orders shipped (along with tracking numbers, of course), and also backorders. You can search your order history too by your reference number, order received date, title, ISBN, and ship-to address. Book printing is invoiced once a run is put into inventory (our minimum run is 25 copies), then fulfillment costs are invoiced on a weekly basis.
Also!
We can print and add an insert or letter for $0.15 per book.
We can collect your orders from: BigCommerce, Shopify, SquareSpace, and WooCommerce.
A Few Book Fulfillment Clients and Case Studies
Bookmobile provides book fulfillment / drop ship services for hundreds of publishers, including:
- OR Books sells books direct to consumer on their website, Bookmobile collects the orders via a shopping cart API feed (BigCommerce) and we fulfill the orders. Bookmobile prints OR Books titles as well, and they order reprints as needed.
- We've fulfilled thousands of orders of CelloMind for Ovation Press. Ovation manages the offset printing and ships inventory to our warehouse straight from their offset printer.
- We print bound galleys for the North American division of Polity Books, and their Publicist (based in New York) uploads mailing lists to send out single titles or mixed titles to media, sales reps, and booksellers.
- For Wayne State University Press's Journals Division, we print and store eleven journals (from Human Biology to Jewish Film and New Media), both current and past issues. As new issues are printed, Wayne State uploads subscriber lists for mailing, then orders back issues as needed.
